With the integration of Stripe Projects and RevenueCat, developers can now set up monetization for their apps with a single command, streamlining a process that previously required extensive manual setup. By using the command `stripe projects add revenuecat/app`, developers can automatically create a RevenueCat account, provision a new project, generate necessary API keys, and configure them directly in the .env file, all without leaving the terminal. This integration simplifies the provisioning of monetization infrastructure to the level of other components like databases or authentication, allowing agents to manage the setup seamlessly in environments like Cursor, Claude Code, or Warp. The new setup not only reduces the time from concept to revenue generation but also enables testing on real devices via RevenueCat's test store, although developers still need Apple and Google accounts to go live.
