API Documentation

The Plushcap public API is a read-only REST API for querying the company, content, YouTube, Hacker News, and trend analysis data stored in Plushcap.

Base URL: /api/v1/

The public API only supports read operations. Public discovery endpoints are available without authentication. Data endpoints require a Plushcap API key. See Authentication for details.

Endpoints

• Authentication - API key setup, access tiers, and read-only behavior
• MCP Server - Connect Plushcap to Claude, Codex, and other MCP clients
• Companies - List companies, get company details, and detect companies from URLs
• Blog Posts - Query stored blog posts and summaries
• YouTube - Query YouTube metrics and leaderboards
