Fivetran AWS Customers Can Now Manage Credential Encryption

Fivetran, a managed data integration service, has introduced a new security feature called customer-managed keys for its Business Critical users running on AWS. This feature allows organizations to control the master key used by Fivetran to encrypt credentials and temporary data. By managing their own encryption keys, customers can disable access to the key and stop Fivetran from syncing data at any time, enhancing security and control over sensitive information. The setup process is simple and involves configuring a key and role in AWS KMS and entering the key details into the Fivetran dashboard. This feature is available with Fivetran Business Critical, which offers industry-leading cloud data integration solutions for security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
