Summary

We at Percipient LOVE Zapier. We use Zaps to automate tasks that touch pretty much every aspect of our business—from customer onboarding to client deliverables. Percipient is an alternative legal service provider, helping corporate legal teams and law firms with legal tasks involving data and technology. Automation is underutilized in the legal industry, but using Zapier can help teams get started. Many applications can be connected to other apps and augmented with Zapier's functionality. We use Zapier for customer onboarding, employee onboarding, customer support, and marketing automation. To onboard customers, we create an intake form that captures project information and sends billing information to our accounting software using a Zap. For employee onboarding, new employees fill out an onboarding form that generates an employment agreement automatically. We use Zapier for customer support by sending daily email digests of customer service requests. In marketing, we automate certain Tweets and connect various marketing platforms to HubSpot. To start automating processes, begin with small, simple tasks and look for low-touch, high-volume tasks. Automation can help reduce time spent on mundane tasks and increase productivity. By implementing automation, teams can build a case for further investment in automation and make attorneys more effective.
