Allez les Tyks: tales from an awesome Alpine adventure

In March, the Tyk team, consisting of 20 members from various global locations, convened in the French Alps for their first company-wide retreat aimed at fostering collaboration and generating ideas. This retreat was an opportunity for team members, many of whom were meeting in person for the first time, to engage in both work and leisure activities, including workshops, hackathons, and outdoor adventures like hiking and water sports. Over the course of the week, the team successfully developed several actionable projects, such as an improved landing page and a better social media strategy, while also enjoying social events that strengthened interpersonal relationships. The retreat emphasized sustainable growth, team creativity, and the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration, ultimately leaving participants with a deeper understanding of their colleagues and the collective potential of the company.
