Twilio’s SIGNAL conference featured a Developer Keynote by Twilio's CEO Jeff Lawson along with Developer Evangelists, including AILeen, a robot companion. The keynote focused on the importance of quality data for developers to create personalized customer experiences using AI integrations and Twilio Segment's customer data platform (CDP). With Segment, developers can gather data from sources, track customer journeys, and send and store data with pre-built Destinations. CustomerAI couples LLMs with real-time customer data to help businesses truly listen to customers and create more personalized experiences. The company also showcased its use of predictive AI to combat SMS fraud, such as SMS Traffic Pumping, with the launch of Fraud Guard. Additionally, Twilio announced a set of trust principles and privacy ladder framework for responsible AI development and deployment, including the Segment Privacy Portal.
