Use Neon AI Gateway With Your Coding Agents

Tembo now supports Neon AI Gateway, allowing teams to connect a single Neon credential under Settings → Models and run cloud-based coding agents with access to models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and other providers. The gateway, currently in Neon’s private preview, uses standard SDK-compatible APIs and bills model usage against prepaid Neon credits at provider list prices, eliminating the need to manage multiple provider keys and invoices. Agents continue to operate in Tembo’s cloud sandboxes with repositories and pull request workflows unchanged, while the gateway handles authentication and billing for model calls. Teams may still use direct provider keys alongside Neon AI Gateway, and access requires a paid Neon plan and an eligible gateway credential.
