Cloud Coding Agents for GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
Blog post from Tembo
Tembo supports cloud-based coding agents across GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, enabling teams to run agents against repositories, open pull requests or merge requests, respond to review comments, and keep code review within their existing Git provider. Agents operate in cloud sandboxes with access to the full codebase and can be initiated through the Tembo app, PR or merge-request comments, schedules, repository events, or connected tools such as Jira, Linear, and Sentry. GitHub integration uses an installed app and bot account by default, GitLab supports both GitLab.com and self-managed deployments through a recommended service-account token setup or OAuth, and Bitbucket requires a dedicated workspace account. Interaction commands differ by provider, with @tembo used on GitHub and GitLab and /tembo used on Bitbucket, while support for CI remediation includes GitHub Actions and GitLab pipelines. Users can choose agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Opencode, and Amp, along with their preferred models.
