Tailscale log streaming now supports S3 destinations
Blog post from Tailscale
Tailscale has expanded its log streaming capabilities to include Amazon S3 and S3-compatible buckets as destinations for configuration audit logs and network flow logs, enabling organizations to meet security and compliance obligations while keeping storage costs low. This addition addresses the needs of customers who prefer archiving logs for audit purposes without the expense of a full SIEM solution. The feature supports streaming to native S3 buckets using IAM roles and to S3-compatible buckets, such as MinIO and B2, using access keys and secrets. Currently in beta, S3 logging can be set up through the admin console and is available under Tailscale's Personal, Personal Plus, and Enterprise plans for configuration audit logs, while network log streaming is exclusive to the Enterprise plan.
