csysdig's Hotkeys: turning csysdig into a control panel for processes, connections and containers
Blog post from Sysdig
Csysdig, an ncurses user interface for sysdig, has introduced a new feature that allows users to perform actions directly from the interface, enhancing its functionality beyond merely exploring information. Previously focused on observation, the update now enables users to execute actions such as killing processes, attaching to containers, and other custom commands through simple keyboard mappings. This integration provides a seamless workflow for users navigating processes, network connections, and Docker containers, allowing actions like generating core dumps, running tcpdump captures, and managing container operations with ease. The interface is customizable with Lua scripts, enabling users to create personalized hotkeys, while the default set of commands is designed to be practical and time-saving, particularly for Docker-related tasks.
