Summary

Stripe has launched a public-preview real-time sync feature for Stripe Data Pipeline that automatically copies selected Stripe data, including payments, customers, and subscriptions, into Postgres databases within seconds of changes. Intended to reduce the need for developers to maintain API polling and webhook-based integrations, the service backfills chosen tables, monitors synchronized records for discrepancies, and resolves inconsistencies against Stripe’s source data. It supports Postgres providers such as Supabase, AWS, Neon, and Databricks Lakebase, requires no code to configure, and is designed to help businesses power customer-facing workflows, fulfillment, account access, and financial operations with current Stripe data. Postgres is the first destination for real-time Data Pipeline synchronization, with support for major warehouses and cloud storage platforms planned for the future.
