SQrL, a chatbot from SingleStore, assisted novice developers Arnaud and Pranav in building an AI movie recommender on SingleStoreDB. They used SQrL to easily ingest data from AWS S3, design optimized tables, and write efficient queries. The app features full-text search with autocomplete and semantic search with analytics, leveraging native vector functions and filters.
