Announcing the New Sigma API. Extend and Automate the value of Sigma!

Sigma has introduced its first API, enabling customers to integrate Sigma into existing workflows and applications programmatically, thereby facilitating faster and more accurate data-driven decisions. The API allows developers to automate processes by interacting with Sigma features through code, reducing manual errors and maximizing the value of cloud data warehouses. With approximately 15 endpoints, the API offers functionalities such as exporting Sigma data, obtaining metadata, and automating data materialization, all secured via API Token Keys. During its beta phase, the API demonstrated versatility in real-world applications, such as automating email reports and ensuring data accuracy by syncing with data pipeline actions. Comprehensive documentation and support resources are available for developers to test, debug, and effectively implement the API in their environments.
