Seer can now trigger Cursor Agents to fix your bugs
Blog post from Sentry
Seer's new integration with Cursor Cloud Agents allows for automated bug fixes by triggering Cursor to resolve issues identified by Seer, which analyzes the bug and provides comprehensive context like stack traces and root cause analysis. The Cursor Cloud Agent, operating within the user's full running codebase environment, autonomously writes and submits pull requests for fixes, enabling developers to delegate bug resolution entirely to the system. Users can manually trigger this process or automate it for specific issue types by configuring Seer settings to activate Cursor Cloud Agents as the endpoint. This integration streamlines debugging by eliminating the need for manual context transfer, as Cursor Cloud Agents can perform type checks, linting, and testing within the existing code environment, leading to automatically triaged and merge-ready solutions. To implement the integration, users simply need to install the Cursor Agent through Sentry settings and configure the desired stopping point for Seer, thus facilitating an efficient and automated bug-fixing workflow.
