Sauce Labs Named a Challenger in Gartner Magic Quadrant: Release Assurance has Arrived
Blog post from Sauce Labs
Sauce Labs reports that Gartner placed it in the Challengers quadrant of the 2026 Magic Quadrant for Agentic Software Quality Assurance Platforms, which the company views as recognition of its AURA AI-Unified Release Assurance platform and its approach to AI-driven software quality. The company argues that AI coding tools have increased code production faster than organizations can verify it, creating an “AI code verification gap” that traditional, script-based test automation struggles to address. AURA uses agentic AI to generate tests from business intent, execute them across real and virtual devices and browsers, analyze failures, and adapt tests as applications change, while engineers retain authority to review evidence and approve releases. Sauce Labs says customers using AURA have seen fewer production incidents, faster releases, and recovered engineering capacity, and notes that the platform operates across more than 100,000 devices and holds ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI management.
