Last year marked the introduction of The Shippies at the App Growth Annual, recognizing outstanding subscription apps with accolades across six categories, which include Best Onboarding Experience and Best Monetization Strategy, among others. The inaugural event featured entries from notable apps like Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Pump and celebrated winners by showcasing their apps on over 150 billboards in San Francisco. Building on this success, The Shippies 2025 invites applications for the second edition, offering winners a newly designed trophy, features across RevenueCat channels, and the opportunity for their apps to be displayed on a Times Square billboard during New York App Week. The awards aim to highlight often-overlooked aspects of app development, such as onboarding flows and churn reduction initiatives, celebrating the hard work of developers and providing them with significant exposure. Applications are open until September 15, 2025, with winners announced at the App Growth Annual event in New York.
