What’s new in two: September 2025 edition

In September 2025, Redis introduced several key updates and innovations across its product line, highlighted by the Fall Release, which included advancements in Redis for AI, Redis Cloud, and Redis Open Source. A notable introduction was the LangCache, a fully managed semantic caching service designed to optimize latency and reduce costs for LLMs. Improvements to the Redis Query Engine enhanced hybrid search accuracy and eased implementation, while vector search received performance boosts through embedding quantization. Redis Cloud 8.2 was announced, bringing faster commands and a smaller memory footprint, alongside the Redis Query Engine and Redis Data Integration in the cloud.
