Today Amazon Web Services (AWS) is announcing new options and exciting changes for its popular Redis Cloud and Memcached Cloud plans, including an increased memory size in the free tier to 25MB and the addition of new plan options called Redis Cloud Cache and Memcached Cloud Basic. The new plans offer lower prices but with reduced capabilities compared to the existing premium services.
