Postmark has launched a new infrastructure called Message Streams, which allows users to send similar messages to multiple recipients with high-quality sending standards. The goal is to make email painless and enjoyable for product development teams while preserving Postmark's world-class transactional service and superior deliverability. This move aims to fill in the gaps between transactional and other types of application emails that need to go out to multiple recipients at once, making life easier for customers who previously had to split their messages across multiple providers. Postmark will continue to manually vet each potential customer and maintain high deliverability standards for transactional email, using separate sending IPs and From domains to ensure optimal deliverability. The new infrastructure enables users to send up to 500 messages per request with up to 10 concurrent connections open, effectively allowing them to send up to 5,000 emails concurrently. Postmark Message Streams is currently in private beta with a public launch planned for later in 2020.
