Summary

Port’s August 2026 release makes Port Workflows generally available as a governed orchestration layer for agents, automations, business rules, and human approvals, with low-code building, AI-assisted planning, self-service and catalog-change triggers, and integrations with tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, Slack, and Cursor Cloud Agents. The release expands agent governance through MCP-specific workflow permissions, Cursor and Claude Skills analytics, GitHub and GitLab ingestion of skills and plugins, and live Port AI checklists for missing integrations and secrets. It also introduces workflow management through Terraform, Slack-based workflow approvals and input forms, improved attribution for impersonated runs, and controls to hide legacy actions and automations. Catalog and integration updates include a Context Lake Catalog view, multi-source array-property merging, multi-organization GitHub syncing, a generally available Folders API, enhanced mapping filters, automatic suspension of repeatedly failing integrations, durable webhook event processing, and guided recovery from mass entity deletions. Additional usability improvements include direct modal links, custom organization logos, configurable notification skipping, a reorganized Governance area, and new guides for developer-environment management, Azure provisioning, and Claude Skills adoption tracking.
