Summary

We are now over three months into our global MongoDB.local tour that began in New York at the start of June, continuing to present product improvements and new capabilities like MongoDB for VS Code's AG and Queryable Encryption. Today, I'm excited to share the key points from recent product announcements at our London conference this morning. We're committed to providing developers with the most effective development experiences, identifying two areas of improvement: making Atlas more efficient and simplifying query writing in MongoDB. To make development with Atlas easier throughout their journey, we've introduced a new Atlas CLI that allows developers to create managed local development environments with the same experience as an Atlas cluster in the cloud. We're also expanding our platform for data to include local environments, integrating Atlas Search and Vector Search to enable developers to create and manage indexes and search queries within their development workflow. Additionally, we're introducing AI-powered experiences to reduce friction in learning MongoDB's query language, including a new interface for Compass that can generate queries based on user input. For clients migrating from relational databases to MongoDB, our Relational Migrator tool can convert SQL queries into MongoDB syntax, making it easier to migrate applications. We've also introduced Atlas for the Edge, which brings data processing and storage capabilities closer to where data is generated, enabling faster synchronization and deployment of data between environments. With Atlas Vector Search, developers can create more intelligent applications using AI-generated content, and we're launching a new platform called MongoDB Press to provide resources and knowledge for developers to learn and grow with our technology.
