Introducing Cursor Cloud Agents in Graphite
Blog post from Graphite
Software development is rapidly evolving with the introduction of agents capable of generating and refining code, allowing developers to focus more on reviewing and shipping work rather than typing. Cursor has advanced this technology by providing each agent with its own virtual machine for independent code building, testing, and demonstration, and these agents can produce merge-ready pull requests with video demos. However, existing developer tools often require context-switching between platforms, which can hinder the integration of AI-generated changes. To address this, Cursor has launched Cursor Cloud Agents in Graphite, offering a seamless browser-based environment to create, review, and merge agent-generated pull requests without needing an IDE. This integration allows developers to interact with agents directly on the PR page, select appropriate coding models for tasks, and maintain workflow continuity between Cursor and Graphite without losing context. Future plans include enhancing mobile support, agent visibility, and collaboration features, aiming to blur the lines between human and agent work. The service is currently available for Cursor's Pro plan users and above.
