Grafana Labs conducted its second annual observability survey to gather insights on the evolving observability landscape, aiming to understand where organizations stand in terms of adoption and market trends. The survey invited participants from various backgrounds, whether they were seasoned with observability concepts or just beginning, to share their experiences in using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry. It sought to capture data on the number and types of tools used, maturity of strategies, and the influence of company size and industry on adoption. Emphasizing the importance of community input, Grafana Labs also offered the opportunity for deeper, anonymized interviews with participants interested in providing more detailed feedback. The survey aimed to take no more than five minutes and ensured anonymity for all respondents, with an incentive of branded merchandise for those participating in interviews. The results, including a contextual analysis, will be published early next year to benefit the wider community.
