New in Grafana 10: Grafana Scenes for building dynamic dashboarding experiences

Grafana 10 introduces Grafana Scenes, a new frontend library aimed at enhancing the dynamic dashboarding capabilities of the platform by enabling developers to create more interactive and customizable experiences within their Grafana application plugins. This TypeScript library facilitates the embedding of comprehensive dashboards with template variables, time ranges, and visualizations, allowing developers to incorporate dynamic features like conditional panels and user-driven interactions. While it is currently tailored for plugin developers familiar with TypeScript, there are plans to extend its accessibility to non-plugin users through more declarative models. Grafana Scenes is in public preview across various Grafana offerings, and its development roadmap includes achieving feature parity with existing dashboards and exploring new functionalities.
