How to quickly find unused metrics and get more value from Grafana Cloud

Grafana Cloud users often face challenges in managing the increasing complexity of data generated by software systems, particularly in distinguishing which metrics are important and which are unused. To address this, Grafana has introduced commands for their cortex-tools, enabling users to generate a list of unused metrics ranked by cardinality. These unused metrics, which are stored in Grafana Cloud but not displayed on any dashboards, can be identified using the cortextool analyse commands.
