This integration leverages CouchDB's Prometheus metrics endpoint and the Grafana Agent to simplify monitoring, allowing users to track various metrics such as database reads/writes, request latencies, and replication states. By setting up a Grafana Cloud account, users can access pre-built dashboards and alerts that provide insights into the health and performance of their CouchDB clusters and nodes. The integration includes two main dashboards: the Apache CouchDB Overview, which offers a high-level view of clusters, and the Apache CouchDB Nodes, which provides detailed node-specific metrics. Additionally, it features 10 alerting rules to monitor cluster health, request status codes, and replication status. This integration aims to make CouchDB monitoring accessible and efficient, aligning with Grafana Labs' philosophy of offering a consistent user experience across diverse data sources and environments.
