GrafanaCONline Day 9 featured insightful sessions, including a detailed explanation by Grafana Labs principal software engineer Björn Rabenstein on Prometheus rate queries, where he delved into the distinctions between range vectors and instant vectors, as well as range and instant queries, using Grafana's Query Inspector, a new feature in Grafana v7.0, to illustrate how data from Prometheus is graphed. Additionally, Stig Sorenson from Bloomberg LP shared how his organization successfully implemented a centralized telemetry solution, involving more than 6,000 engineers and built on open-source software, shedding light on critical decisions and lessons learned over a four-year period.
