Full-stack observability in Grafana Cloud: More connections, richer context, and faster investigations for users and agents
Blog post from Grafana Labs
Grafana Cloud announced expanded full-stack observability capabilities at ObservabilityCON 2026 centered on its Knowledge Graph, a runtime context layer that connects system components, dependencies, health data, ownership, and incident knowledge. The platform now incorporates generally available frontend application signals, additional AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud resources, custom entities and relationships, Knowledge Graph mode in Grafana Assistant, and agent runtime context, while synthetic checks and AI agent mapping are in public preview and Microsoft SQL Server discovery, Service Center integration, and incident-management operational context are in private preview. By linking telemetry with service catalogs, on-call teams, runbooks, product relationships, and lessons from previous incidents, Grafana aims to help engineers and AI agents investigate problems from user-facing applications through underlying services, databases, and infrastructure more quickly. A new Cypher query tool enables agents to directly query graph relationships and current health, reducing the need to reconstruct system context from raw telemetry during each investigation.
