Azure Monitor offers Grafana dashboards natively for immediate real time operational monitoring

At its annual Build conference, Microsoft announced the integration of Grafana dashboards into Azure Monitor, providing Azure users with native access to real-time operational monitoring through the Azure Portal at no extra cost. This service, currently in public preview, allows users to create, edit, and manage Grafana dashboards for various Azure services, including Azure Monitor metrics and Azure Kubernetes Services, with minimal administrative effort. The integration supports Grafana OSS, enabling users to utilize thousands of community-created dashboards for Prometheus and Azure Monitor data sources. Additionally, the dashboards are portable across different Grafana instances, facilitating sharing and reuse across platforms like Azure Managed Grafana and Grafana Cloud. This collaboration marks a significant step in embedding Grafana into Azure's user experience, enhancing the workflow of over 700,000 organizations using Azure globally and fostering greater participation in the Grafana community.
