Grafana OnCall is a new on-call management tool designed to simplify and enhance the efficiency of on-call workflows for DevOps and SRE teams, now available in beta for all Grafana Cloud users. Developed from the acquisition of Amixr Inc., the tool aims to address the complexities and lack of developer-friendly features in existing on-call solutions by offering simple workflows, deep Slack integration, and flexible scheduling via calendar events. It includes features such as flexible escalation routing, a central incident view within the familiar Grafana UI, automatic alert grouping to reduce noise, and a wide range of integrations with monitoring systems like Datadog and AWS SNS. Grafana OnCall allows teams to optimize their on-call rotations, collaborate more effectively, and resolve incidents faster, all while benefiting from the fully managed Grafana Cloud observability stack.
