All about the Grafana Labs Hackathon 2.0Removed

Grafana Labs hosted its second company-wide hackathon in December, following the success of their first event, with 148 participants engaging in a week-long session of virtual brainstorming, collaborative coding, and creative presentations. The hackathon saw the formation of 58 cross-functional teams that developed a diverse array of projects involving drones, race cars, and the company's core products. Due to the impressive quality and variety of projects, the panel of judges expanded the original plan of five finalists to six, which were presented at the December all-hands meeting for a company-wide vote. Projects were evaluated on technical innovation, design, commercial potential, and community impact, with some ideas potentially being incorporated into future product roadmaps. The event highlighted the participants' ability to innovate rapidly and demonstrated potential for personal and company growth, as noted by Grafana Labs' leadership.
