Introducing GlareDB: Query and analyze your data, wherever it lives
Blog post from GlareDB
GlareDB is a cloud-based query execution engine designed to streamline data analytics by enabling direct querying across various data sources without the need for traditional ETL pipelines. It connects directly to databases, data warehouses, and object storage, transforming data into an efficient format for analytics, and supports multiple data sources such as Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, MongoDB, and files from S3 and GCS. The engine is Postgres-compatible and integrates with existing BI and visualization tools, allowing users to perform complex queries across different data sources with minimal latency. This approach simplifies workflows for data and analytics engineers by eliminating redundant data copies and enhancing query performance, particularly for systems where analytics workloads typically lag. GlareDB is currently available as a Technical Preview, inviting users interested in efficient multi-source analytics to sign up or contact them for more information.
