Building a Fivetran connector in <1 hour with Anthropic’s Claude AI

Fivetran has released its new Connector SDK product into General Availability, offering a seamless experience for building custom connectors, especially when paired with Anthropic's Claude code-writing agent. The team built a custom connector for the PokéAPI to test it out and achieved remarkable results, including creating a fully functional connector with four tables in under an hour and spending only $3.01. They used Claude AI to rapidly create the connector, iterate on the code, test and debug, deploy, and refine the process.
