Fivetran Announces Five-Minute Syncing

Fivetran now supports five-minute syncing for all of its data connectors, from Asana to Zendesk, allowing users to centralize their data in a warehouse and generate deeper insights. However, this near real-time syncing comes with costs, such as increased data ingestion costs, potential concurrent-transaction bottlenecks, and higher warehousing expenses. Fivetran advises customers to use the new feature judiciously and highlights some scenarios where a 5-minute sync would be beneficial, such as monitoring real-time website traffic events.
