Fingerprint has launched a new data hosting center in Mumbai, India, expanding its existing network of data centers in Europe and the USA. This move aims to better support Indian customers and comply with India's personal data protection regulations while enhancing performance for customers in Asia. Despite being based in Chicago, Fingerprint's customer base predominantly resides outside the US, with India identified as a significant growth market. The new data center allows prospective customers to choose the Asia API (Mumbai) for optimal performance, and existing customers can request to switch to the AP-South-1 data region. Fingerprint Pro offers a device identification service that helps prevent fraud and account takeovers by generating unique identifiers using JavaScript technology, which can be easily integrated into existing workflows.
