Expressive Mode for ElevenAgents is a new feature introduced by ElevenLabs that enhances voice agents with more human-like expressiveness, allowing them to effectively manage tone in customer conversations to de-escalate, reassure, and guide towards resolution. This mode is powered by two core upgrades: the Eleven v3 Conversational model and a new turn-taking system. The Eleven v3 Conversational model provides emotionally intelligent, context-aware text-to-speech capabilities, ensuring the speech reflects emotion and intent appropriately. The turn-taking system leverages real-time feedback from the Scribe v2 Realtime transcription model to optimize response timing, crucial for maintaining trust and engagement in conversations. Expressive Mode supports over 70 languages and is designed to scale globally, enhancing the delivery of nuanced communication where it previously lagged. The feature is integrated into the ElevenAgents platform, offering reliability and scalability for large-scale customer operations.
