ElevenLabs at ASHA and the Allied Professionals Forum
Blog post from ElevenLabs
Members of the ElevenLabs Impact Program recently participated in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention and the Allied Professionals Forum, both significant events in the field of speech and assistive technology, to support people with speech and motor impairments. These gatherings provided a platform for clinicians, researchers, and technologists to share innovative practices and research, with a focus on improving communication access through technology. At the Allied Professionals Forum, ElevenLabs collaborated with Bridging Voice to conduct a masterclass on voice cloning technology, offering hands-on training that empowered participants with tools to preserve or restore their voices. The program's mission is to give back one million voices globally to individuals with voice loss, working with various organizations to ensure widespread accessibility. Upcoming, ElevenLabs plans to continue its outreach at the Assistive Technology Industry Association Conference, further exploring how voice cloning can enhance communication and promote inclusivity.
