A world-first performance: singing again with ElevenLabs AI

At the ElevenLabs Summit in London on February 11, 2026, a groundbreaking live performance featured Patrick Darling, a composer and former singer of the Irish folk group The Ceili House Band, who has been living with ALS since age 29. Despite the disease taking away his ability to sing and speak with ease, Patrick's singing voice was digitally recreated using ElevenLabs' voice technology, enabling him to perform an original song with his former bandmates in front of nearly 1,000 people.
