Elastic users can now deploy and manage Elasticsearch directly through the Microsoft Azure portal, benefiting from a seamless onboarding experience without needing external service sign-ups or additional billing setups. This integration simplifies creating an Elasticsearch resource by provisioning a marketplace subscription with Elastic Cloud, allowing users to configure various resource details such as subscription, resource group, region, version, and size. Logs and metrics from Azure can automatically be ingested into Elastic, providing insights into subscription-level events and resource operations. Additionally, virtual machine system logs and metrics can be sent to Elastic for deeper analysis and monitoring. The integration supports features such as anomaly detection, application performance monitoring, and customized search experiences, with all Elastic usage appearing on a consolidated Microsoft invoice. Elastic provides support through the Azure portal, and users are encouraged to participate in product feedback sessions to enhance the integration.
