Do less with serverless: Elastic Cloud Serverless — Now GA
Blog post from Elastic
Elastic has announced the general availability of Elastic Cloud Serverless on AWS, designed to simplify and scale security, observability, and search operations. This new offering features a reimagined Elasticsearch architecture with a stateless Search AI Lake that separates compute from storage, enabling cost-effective, low-latency querying and AI capabilities. The platform eliminates the need for traditional infrastructure management such as node or shard handling, and it simplifies scaling and capacity planning through automated processes. Elastic Cloud Serverless supports high-volume workloads with rapid data ingestion and consistent query response times, even when processing petabytes of data. Initially available across various AWS regions, the service is set to expand to Azure and Google Cloud, offering tailored pricing models based on actual usage for different solutions like security and observability. It provides developers with optimized experiences for building AI-driven search applications, alongside streamlined capabilities for observability and security analytics without the overhead of managing cloud infrastructure.
