DataStax Astra DB Attains PCI DSS 3.2.1 Level 1 Service Provider Status

DataStax has achieved an attestation of PCI DSS 3.2.1 compliance from Coalfire for its Astra DB service on AWS, ensuring the security and safety of customer data stored in the platform. The PCI DSS mandates maintaining a secure environment for handling all types of payment information. This attestation complements DataStax's existing SOC2 compliant security program based on industry best practices across access control, strong authentication, encryption, network security, governance, risk management, and secure software development. The PCI compliance assessment was conducted by an independent third-party (Coalfire), providing assurance of DataStax's commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy for customer data.
