The latest release of Couchbase Analytics Developer Preview 4 (DP4) offers new integrated statistics for resource utilization and bucket operations on the Couchbase web console, as well as improved RBAC support with tailored roles for users interacting with the Analytics service. DP4 was used to demonstrate the capabilities of the Couchbase data platform during a technical keynote at Couchbase Connect Silicon Valley, showcasing how the Analytics service can provide near real-time insights without traditional data warehousing schema design or ETL workflow development. The release aims to reduce time-to-insight for businesses by providing immediate availability of application data and leveraging massively parallel processing to process analytical queries quickly and in a scalable manner.
