Meet Sinan, Our October 2023 Confluent Champion

Sinan Ezer, a Commercial Account Executive at Confluent, leads the sales team in Turkey as part of the broader Middle East, Africa, and Turkey organization after joining the company in March 2020 as an inbound SDR covering the DACH region. Drawn to technology sales from an early age and introduced to Apache Kafka in a prior recruiting-oriented role, he was motivated to join Confluent by the energy of its London office, its fast-moving environment, and the opportunity to work in an emerging technology space. Based in Barcelona, Ezer supports new hires, manages prospecting and customer relationships, follows technology and investment trends, and develops his LinkedIn presence while adapting to enterprise sales and Turkey’s local business environment. He describes Confluent’s culture as open-minded and autonomous, allowing employees to structure their work independently and make decisions quickly, as illustrated by his organization of an 85-person Istanbul Lunch and Learn event within four weeks.
