Summary

pg_clickhouse v0.11.0 and chdb extension v0.1.2 expand PostgreSQL–ClickHouse compatibility through improvements to encoding validation, data-type mappings, query pushdown, and nested data support. The releases introduce configurable handling of invalid text and JSON encoding bytes, allowing users to fail, remove, replace, or truncate malformed data, while bytea mappings preserve raw values when needed. ClickHouse interval types can now import as PostgreSQL intervals or bigints and support pushed-down expressions such as timestamp-plus-duration filters. Parameterized ClickHouse JSON columns now map to jsonb or json and permit property-based ordering, while unflattened Nested types can be represented either as multidimensional text arrays or arrays of compatible PostgreSQL composite types. Additional mappings cover large integers, time, tuples, maps, and geographic types; deprecated clickhouse_raw_query() has been removed in favor of newer query functions; PostgreSQL 13 support has ended; and cryptographic hash and digest functions can now be pushed down to ClickHouse.
