Summary

ClickHouse Managed Postgres now offers scheduled maintenance windows, allowing customers to choose a two-hour UTC period for platform upgrades, patches, feature updates, and underlying system maintenance rather than receiving them whenever releases are ready. Scale plan customers can select a time window, while Enterprise customers can also restrict maintenance to specific days of the week; Basic users can view the feature but must upgrade to use it. Schedules are configured through a service’s Settings and Configuration page and can be edited or removed, after which maintenance resumes as releases become available. The window applies only to provider-initiated maintenance, while user-requested changes occur immediately, urgent storage scaling proceeds if disk use exceeds 90%, and read replicas follow their primary service’s schedule.
