ClickHouse welcomes RunReveal

ClickHouse has acquired RunReveal, a security data platform built on ClickHouse, to bring its security expertise in-house while continuing to support independent companies building security products on the database. The acquisition reflects the demanding nature of security workloads, which require high-throughput ingestion of diverse telemetry, long-term retention, efficient storage, and rapid querying for investigations and threat detection. ClickHouse says the combined team will improve security-focused reference architectures, schema and retention guidance, and product roadmap feedback, while RunReveal will remain available through its bring-your-own-database model and existing customers will retain support and contract terms. The companies also emphasize the growing importance of security data for monitoring AI agents and defending against machine-speed threats, with RunReveal’s agentic investigation capabilities expected to help inform future analytics support across the ClickHouse platform.
