5 Questions with Genevieve Martin of Dave’s Killer Bread Foundation

Dave's Killer Bread Foundation aims to promote Second Chance Employment by working directly with employers to build leadership buy-in and adopt this practice, sharing recommendations and best practices along the way. The foundation was established five years ago in response to a challenge of supporting Dave's Killer Bread's workforce, where one in three partners has a criminal background. The mission has evolved from educating employers about second chance hiring to also helping them understand its benefits and challenges. The foundation is now partnering with other companies and organizations to promote Second Chance Employment and is sharing best practices and resources to help employers adopt this practice thoughtfully and intentionally.
