Connect AI Embed Q1 Release: On-Prem Connectivity, Tighter Governance, Full Operational Visibility
Blog post from CData
Connect AI Embed’s Q1 release expands its managed MCP platform with tools intended to help product teams deploy AI features securely across customer environments without building their own data connectivity, governance, and observability infrastructure. Connect Gateway uses a lightweight Docker container and outbound-only reverse tunnel to securely reach on-premises data behind customer firewalls, supporting multiple sources per private network and automatic routing across gateway instances. Global Connection Properties centralizes OAuth configuration across sub-accounts and enables branded authentication flows, while the Embedded Master Dashboard provides cross-tenant monitoring of connection health, agent activity, usage, performance, and errors. The release also introduces an Embedded Caching UI that allows teams and customers to manage cache settings through a ready-made interface, aiming to improve AI responsiveness without additional API integration or maintenance work. Together, these capabilities target organizations scaling AI products into regulated industries, private networks, and multi-tenant enterprise deployments.
