Announcing Aiven for OpenSearch®

Aiven has announced the launch of its new managed service, Aiven for OpenSearch, which is built on the open-source project OpenSearch. This service offers a fully open-source upgrade path for existing Aiven for Elasticsearch 7.x customers and ensures compatibility with Elasticsearch v7. The transition from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch also upgrades Kibana to OpenSearch Dashboards. Users can upgrade their services using the normal upgrade service mechanism, ensuring that cost, performance, and usage experience remain unchanged. Aiven for OpenSearch includes OpenSearch, OpenSearch Dashboards, and a variety of plugins, all well-maintained and supported open-source technology.
