Leveling up the Airbyte Community with a Maintainer Program, a Content Hub & a Conference

Airbyte has experienced significant growth with over 1,000 daily active users and more than 6,000 data professionals on Slack and GitHub. The company aims to build the biggest and most active data engineering community in the world. In order to maintain connectors at scale, Airbyte is expanding its private beta bounty system to the public soon. Additionally, official maintainers from the community with commit access have been introduced. Airbyte's new content hub, Data Bytes, will provide fresh high-quality data engineering content daily. The company also plans to launch a podcast show and host a conference called move(data) in November 2022. To improve technical support for its open-source community, Airbyte is moving all support channels from Slack to Discourse and introducing new thematic channels on Slack.
